ERIC MOORE KEYBOARDS AND VOCALS
Eric is an established player. He studied jazz and classical piano at Jacksonville University, Herschel Music Academy and attended Michigan State University. His clients include: Academy Award winning film director, Peter Bagdonavich, U.S. Senator Bob Graham, The Vanderbilt Family , Pat Summeral, Disney Corporation, First Union Bank, Sawgrass Beach Club, The Cabana Club, The City Of Jacksonville and The Jacksonville Jazz Festival. He has performed with a variety of well known musicians for over 30 years. This includes the Jazz Great, Les Demerle and groups such as the coasters. He has been keyboardist, vocalist and arranger for the Faze Band for over 19 years. The Faze Band was the house band at Ponte Vedra Inn and Club for over 17 years. He lived in the New York area for 10 years, teaching piano and performing at many elite venues; including the World Trade Center. He worked for one of the leading booking agents in in New Jersey, D.C. Productions. The New York Police Benevolent Society was among his clients. Eric looks forward to performing once again with the band, Forerunner. Forerunner was the premiere band in the Southeast in the 1980’s and has a storied history in Jacksonville Florida.
JOHN KAMINSKI GUITAR AND VOCALS
John is a professional Guitarist, Composer, and Vocalist with over 30 years of experience as both a Performer, Composer, and Instructor in the field of Music. He has a broad and diverse resume which accentuates his love for the art. His personal accomplishments range from lead guitarist in a variety of musical groups to duo and solo performances as well as numerous recordings. He plays many musical styles, but improvisation is a very important part of his expression.
From 1984-1996 John performed with groups all over the Cleveland area. During that time, John participated in several released recordings that were given national airplay. Shows on and off the road brought him to work the same stage with musical group Orleans and even comedians such as Gilbert Gottfried. From 1994-1996 his work with a major band through various cities brought endorsements from large companies, and airplay via radio and television (N.B.C., B.B.C., and local).
In 1996, John relocated to Florida in the Jacksonville area. He currently is continuing his music career locally and abroad.
John’s career however, has not been limited to stage performances. He has over 25 years successful experience as a music teacher both in art schools and his own studio. Also, writing and recording is always an important part of his work and artistic passion.
His most recent endeavor into the “Musical Excursions” sessions have been creating new interest and show John’s abilities as a Producer as well.
KIM RAMSEY DRUMS AND VOCALS
Kim started his music career in band all thru high school & college . Train was the main band he played until after graduation. Later he played on the road with the very popular “Justin” & settled in Jax.. Kim played in several different bands until Forerunner was formed. They played many big events in the city & became very popular . Eric & Richard decided to move to NYC to pursue there music career . I stayed behind and played with several locals bands as well .,We decided to move to NC in early 90’ when Donna got an amazing job offer. I started my fitness career but keep playing music as well. I played several years with original band Snakes & angles & cut 2 CDs. After that venture ended I finally found a very popular beach band called Main event which lasted years. After working 17 years at the YMCA & Donna getting very sick we decided to move back to Florida . The members of Forerunner got together for the original guitarist John Schubert birthday. It felt so good playing again we decide to reform with a new guitar player since John wasn’t available . It’s been about a year since we started but we did play the River Run stage & several times at Whiskey Jacks. Once again adding a new guitarist we are playing in the near future .i have also reunited the band Train after 40 years. We play 4-5 gigs a year since we all live in different states.
RICHARD WRIGHT BASS AND VOCALS
Richard Wright is a bassist, guitarist, vocalist, and keyboardist who has worked
professionally in blues, rock, pop, country, jazz and funk bands for 40 years. He has a
degree in music education and the double bass from Jacksonville University, has played
in the Jacksonville Symphony for five years, has performed in 3 Jacksonville Jazz
Festivals, and has performed with numerous national and regional artist.
Richard has worked as a music educator for 25 years. He holds 3 Levels of Orff-
Schulwerk certification, including a masters level in teaching elemental music. In his 5
years of work at Northeast Florida State Hospital as a Music Therapist, Richard earned a
certification in Applied Behavior Analysis. He applied his skills in Music Therapy and
Behavior Analysis to help persons with disabilities. He enjoys improvisation and
composition which he continually employs in his joy of making music and sharing it with
others.
